The ambience of the lodge is
relaxed, comfortable and eclectically elegant. The Great Room in
1846 House is beautifully appointed with luxurious textures,
rich colours, original works of art, cabinets filled with a
library of books, comfortable seating and a magnificent
fireplace.
The Great Room opens onto a large entertainment
terrace where balmy days, moonlit nights and purring log fires
are punctuated with guests’ easy laughter and conversation.
Each of the suites has its own
sitting room and outside living area if you'd like more privacy,
and every window and terrace enjoys spectacular views. To ensure
your absolute comfort there is temperature control throughout
the lodge.
